A quiet, historical monastery with scenic surroundings. Once housed 1,500 monks; now a modest but active site. It’s a bit farther from the center.
Location: Northeast Ulaanbaatar, near the city outskirts in Songino Khairkhan District.
Highlights:
- Built in 1765, one of the oldest surviving temples despite Soviet damage.
- Small stupas and a serene setting near hills.
